Renovating a high speed bench drill 08 Feb 2012 18:41 #71

This little beast just arrived in a corner of my workshop. A bench drill with a 6mm chuck, 1/3Hp rated power motor.

It has a two mechanical speed gearbox and two speed motor giving a spindle range of 4000 to 9000rpm.

The base is 400mm x 450mm, height around 650mm
The table is 270mm x 200mm

Weight 72kg

This is one of those machines that will last forever, given some TLC.

I have given this baby a shower of kerosene and 5-56 for now.
